Relocation
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21

After 29 years of the blessing of being able to worship in the same building, the LORD is moving CBC! We learned late last year the need to vacate our current location due to our landlord selling the building. While we were disappointed with this situation and the challenges it would cause, we were excited about a new opportunity the LORD was now laying before us.
We are happy to announce that after much prayer, searching, and deliberation the elders are convinced the LORD has led us to move into Liberty Middle School (LMS) located in Clifton, VA. We have attempted to prayerfully and faithfully pursue this process in light of God’s promise in Proverbs 3:5-6. We are excited, and somewhat intimidated, by what this change will mean for us as a church body; however, we are fully confident that this is the next thing God is doing in the life of His church, Community Bible Church, and consequently we are eager to follow His direction.
Thank you for your faithful prayers and words of encouragement as we have sought God’s direction together. Most importantly, we thank God for answering our prayers of direction, unity, and clarity. While our decision of where to relocate is complete, we’d ask for your continued prayers for unity of our members, strength for the work that lies ahead, and a Gospel-inspired impact on the Clifton/Centreville community we’re about to engage. Our first service at LMS will be on June 16, 2019. We invite you to join us as we start this new journey!
For I know the plans I have for you”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
